We affirm this to be the last will and testament of Margaret McLeroy als Corkill who on the 30th day of December last past was of perfect mind and memory and declared the same as her will in our presence:
She left and bequeathed unto her eldest son William Kewley of KK Conchan ten shillings, a sheet, blanket and coverlett.
To Robert Kewley her grandson ten shillings with half of a cow to Esther Kewley and him equally between them.
To Bahee Corlett a petticoat of her wearing apparel and a lamb.
And lastly she nominated her son Gilbert Kewley and his wife of the parish of KK Braddan her executors of all the rest of her goods moveable and immoveable of what kind and nature whatsoever excluding all other person or persons claiming or to claim with sixpence legacy and we as witness our names and marks this 26th April 1735

Received from my uncle Gilbert Kewley of KK Braddan the sum of eighteen shillings and three pence ...... which is in full for a quarter of a cow and ten shillings legacy left to me by my grandmother Margaret McYlrey als Kewley. Witness my name and mark this 22nd May 1736. Robert Kewley my mark X

- Margaret was buried 16th March 1734/5
- It would seem that Margaret was a widow when she married Mc Leroy (first name unknown). She had sons William & Gilbert Kewley from her first marriage
- No other parish records have been found to identify the people in Margaret's life. She was a grandmother, so probably born 1680s?
